Show Date: 10/15/2010

Location: Page Auditorium, Duke University, Durham, NC

Lineup: Byron Isaacs (bass), Tony Leone (drums) Glenn Patscha (piano/organ), Fiona McBain (guitar), Jim Lauderdale (ac. Guitar), Catherine Russell (mandolin), Aoife O’Donovan, David Mansfield (guitar/steel/fiddle/mando)

Larry Campbell & Teresa Williams were unable to make the show, so had to line up some suitable replacements.  There aren’t a lot of people who can handle Larry’s job (lead guitar, plus pedal steel, fiddle and mandolin) but luckily we are pals with one of them– the great David Mansfield. Dave has a very impressive resume which we will allow to speak for itself.

Here’s a taste of Dave sounding like a cross between James Burton and Jerry Garcia on a Jim Lauderdale-led rendition of Cumberland Blues.
